Last Saturday, 19th of August I attended the Tote Bag personalization workshop held by Starbucks at Madrigal Ave. in Alabang. I was able to know the said workshop thru a friend and fellow blogger of mine who informed me about it. So after hearing that, I signed up right away knowing it is really near my town and also a new experience to me. Gladly they send me an email right after and informed me that I got a slot for that workshop. It was a great experience and would totally join again if given an opportunity. Thank you, Starbucks!
In the said Tote Bag personalization workshop, we were able to design our own tote bag using the art materials they provided. They prepared us a bunch of colorful Sharpie pens, cute patches, pencils and some stencils that can help us design our own tote bag.
And aside from giving us a Starbucks tote bag that we DIY ourselves, we also took home a free "Meet Me at Starbucks" Moleskine notebook and pen with another tote bag with patches inside which I really like.
They gave us an hour and a half to finish our work and to be honest, I have no idea what to do with mine because I'm no good at doing DIY, crafts, designing and even drawing so I decided to just draw patterns that even a grade schooler can do all over my bag and color it with different Sharpie color to make it look cute.
And ta-dah, I actually didn't expect that they choose my work to be one of the three winners to have the best design of tote bag. I guess my effort of coloring my whole bag made them choose me. Hahaha! So aside from having a great time in the workshop I also came home with a 300 pesos worth of Starbucks card for that work of art of mine. Thank you, Starbucks for the wonderful experience!
And to top of all that, I was finally able to meet Mei personally for the first time in this workshop too. Hi, Mei if you're reading this! She's a blogger friend of mine I met online a few months ago and she is also the one who informed me about this workshop. Though I really had a short time hanging-out with her I still had a great time doing this craft with a new found friend like her. Thank you, Mei!
Ang cute niyo! Haha! I hope I can also meet you, girls, soon! <3
