During my stay in Seoul, Korea for a short trip with my siblings, I definitely didn't miss my chance to visit a K-Drama filming location I could find in Seoul. I research and look for some places that can be easily found in Seoul and I found out that Heo Joon-Jae's house in the series Legend of the Blue Sea is one of the easiest to find.

Legend of the Blue Sea is a Korean drama series starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun which was aired last December until January this year. I got to watch this series during the month it was aired in Korea and on the internet and now it is currently being aired on Philippine TV in ABS-CBN.

The house is actually not hard to find because it's just a few minutes walk from Myeongdong Station and it was just right before you climb the stairs going to the cable car. But to be honest, the struggle in going up there from the station was real. Definitely REAL!

It is located in 29, Sogong-ro 4-gil right before the stairs going up to the cable car. You can just type the street name on your Google maps so you can easily get there but if you don't have internet access or maybe just like us who forgot the name of the street that time you can follow these directions:

From Myeongdong Station, take exit 3 and find the Pacific Hotel.  Walk your way and go up the hill towards the Nansam Tower. Then before you reach the stairs to the cable car you'll see the 29, Sogong-ro 4-gil sign then walk to your right until you see the famous wooden door you see on your favorite K-Drama series.

Heo Joon-Jae's house is actually a gallery in real life. I'm not sure if it's just close that day or it's probably not really for public viewing but who cares, it's the door we see most of the time in LOTS series and that itself is clear enough to satisfy every fan's addiction.

And that's it, I was full of joy when I finally got a picture. Thanks to Karla and Ana's blog entry, I found this place much easier. Ofcourse, aside from getting excited to see the door, the view in here was amazing so make sure to take lots of photos. Have fun!

  2. Hahaha i love how you can't miss a chance to go to a Kdrama filming location. I think it will be me when I come to Korea as well, hahaha. I told myself that if ever I'm going to Korea, I want to visit Lee Min Ho's house from the Heirs - it was also the house from Innocent Man and Cheese in the Trap. Gamit na gamit sya so gusto ko din puntahan! Hahahaha.

  5. Sobrang cute ng ibang houses duuun, especially this one! Too bad, wala pang LOTBS when we visited Korea. Although we had a chance to visit one of the shooting areas for MLFTS nung 2015. Haha. It's really fun to visit the places na nakikita mo lang sa series and movies!
